Top Trekking Tour On Mount Alam Kuh & Mount Damavand 2024

Join the summiteers of Iran’s highest mountains: the tough Mount Alam Kuh (4848m) and the mythological Mount Damavand (5610m). Alam Kuh, with its rugged beauty, is Iran’s second highest mountain and Mount Damavand is the highest volcano in the Middle East and the highest summit of Iran. The two mountains are optimally joined in a single program so that Mount Alam provides the necessary acclimatization for Mount Damavand, and that between the two ascents you get to relax in a seaside city beside the beautiful Caspian Sea.

Mount Alam has worldwide popularity among big wall climbers for the challenging technical granite routes and walls of its northern and western face. Yet besides these wall routes, there are also trekking routes for summiting Mount Alam. From its most common routes, Hesarchal and Alamchal, trek up the most commonly climbed Hersarchal Route. For the Mount Damavand ascent (with 16 routes leading up to its summit), take the most common route: the South face route. Having joined the summiteers of Iran’s highest mountains, you can also have an optional city tour of Tehran to get to know the attractive art, architecture, culture and history of Iran

Our Damavand and Alam Kuh Exclusive and Internationally Standard Camps

Our operation team’s familiarity with standard camps they’d experienced on the world’s top summits (in Nepal, Pakistan, South America, Russia, etc.), as well as the potential they saw in Iran as a mountaineering destination incited them to replicate those camps on mount Damavand and Alam Kuh Mountain.

The High Standards

alam kuh camp 1 - Mount Alam Kuh & Mount Damavand Trek

As one of our strength for a Damavand and Alam Kuh Trekking experience, these camps are the only exclusive and internationally standard camps on Damavand’s south face route and alam Kuh’s Hesarchal route. Both located on the mountains’ most popular routes, are up and running during trekking high season. The camp on Damavand, near Bargah-e Sevvom (around 150meter), is at a 4200-meter altitude. And the one on Alam Kuh is at a 3800-meter altitude. Both can accommodate 30 mountaineers. And both provide every 2 mountaineers one tent provided with foam and mattresses.

The Food in Our Camp

Another resource of our camp is that we have a professional cook who will cook you dishes suitable for trekking. So, you don’t have to eat canned food. Beside the freshly cooked lunch and dinner, a variety of breakfast and snacks are also available. If you are vegan or vegetarian, let us know and we’ll take care of your meals.

Our Environment-Friendly Camp

Preserving nature is important to us! That’s why on our trekking tours we sort the waste, use solar energy panels, and do our best not to leave any human damage or trace on the environment after we’re gone.
