Day 1
Meet us in Tehran and get transferred to Mehrabad Airport to catch a domestic flight to Ardabil (1500m). The Tehran to Ardebil flight takes about an hour and five minutes. In Ardabil, have a tour around the city and check out the elegant architecture of the UNESCO-listed Tomb of Sheikh Safi-Al-Din Ardabili.

Day 2
Get an about 97-kilometer ride to Shabil (2700m), then get into a 4WD to have a one-hour ride to the Camp (3700m). From the camp, trek up to an altitude of about 4000m to acclimatize yourself. Descend to the camp to have an overnight rest.

Day 3
Day of summit! Trek up to the summit of Sabalan (4811m) in 4 to 6 hours and then descend to the camp.

Day 4
On a 4WD, get down to Shabil and head out toward Meshgin Shahr (about 60km). Stop by the highlights of nature, culture and architecture in the region. Cross the largest pedestrian suspension bridge of the Middle East in Meshkin Shahr and relax in the hot springs in the region. Then check out the beautiful tourist village, Onar. Also pay a visit to a 7000-year-old mystery near Pyrazmiyan Village: Shahar-e Yeri. It is a collection of an ancient castle and temple and awe-inspiring carved stones. Finally, end the day with a road trip back to Ardabil (about 73 km).

End you adventure by catching a domestic flight to Tehran (about 1 hour).
