An Adventure at Pooladkaf Ski Resort & Margoon Waterfall

On this ski tour, apart from having fun at Pooladkaf International Ski Resort (2810-3231 meters above sea level), you get to check out the beauty Margoon Waterfall has created by the lovely springs that have made their way out of the rocky wall. Pooladkaf Ski Resort, located in the South of Iran (90km from Shiraz), annually attracts many skiers from all around the world. The ski lifts (including a 2100-meter-long gondola) in the resort provide access to the steepest parts of the slope. The resort also has off-piste trails where our professional guide can take you to. Besides skiing, you can choose to enjoy the day riding snowmobiles, ATVs, segways, bikes, etc.

Day 1
Early in the morning, leave Shiraz for Sepidan (102km) and from there make your way to Pooladkaf International Ski Resort (23km). You have the day until around 3:30 for skiing and having fun using the facilities available at the resort. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the fascinating landscape of the Southern peaks of Zagros Mountains, like Barmfirooz and Ronj. Finally, call the day off at the comfortable hotel of the resort which overlooks the impressive mountains of the region.

Day 2
After a breakfast at the hotel, have a scenic ride toward Margoon Waterfall (40km), hiding itself and its lovely streams in the heart of the beautiful mountains and trees of Sepidan. The 70m height, 100m width and the beauty of several springs pushing water off the beautiful wall make Margoon one of the most stunning waterfalls in Iran. Enjoy a pleasant day and a delicious local lunch (brought for you from the nearby Kakoun Village) while listening to the soothing music of water. Also fall in love with the adorable icicles created on its beautiful wall. Finally, hit the road back to Shiraz in the evening.
