Reza Jahroumi
Reza has always been made for sports. After trying his hand at a variety of sports as a teenager, he grew fond of mountain climbing because of the unique friendship he felt among the members of a mountaineering team. With his elder brother’s support, he started pursuing mountaineering professionally. Over time, he specialized in canyoning and setting routes in canyons. Reza’s love for canyoning combined with his devotion to his homeland Darab (a city neighboring Ragheza Canyon). Together, they set him on the mission of making the charms of Raghez known to the world. His and other leaders’ efforts have paid off and now Raghez has won the name of ‘Iran’s most beautiful canyon’. Reza is passionate about his job, has expertise in training great canyoneers, and is a member of Raghez Rescue Team.
