Mehdi Bigdeli
Mehdi’s participation in a half-day trekking program at the age of 16 started his journey in the world of mountain climbing and he hasn’t stopped gaining experience ever since. After taking a variety of courses and ascending most of Iran’s highest peaks from different routes and in different seasons, he gradually inclined toward technical mountaineering. So, he proudly joined Iran National Team on several technical expeditions to the Himalayas and Pamir Mountains. As a mountain leader, his main motivation is introducing the incredible potential Iran has as an adventurous destination for mountaineers and skiers. He believes that to be a good mountain guide, apart from being able to direct the group through the mountain paths, having enough experience and knowledge of mountaineering as well as high physical strength are vital.
