Heydar Abbasi
The lovely nature around his hometown Sepidan (a mountainous village near Shiraz) made Heydar an avid lover of the outdoors. Plus, movies planted another passion in his heart: skiing. Lack of any ski resorts and professional training and equipment around Shiraz didn’t stop him from pursuing his dream of skiing. He made his own skis and started skiing on the snowy mountains around Sepidan. After years of self-training, he took courses in Dizin Ski Resort in Tehran. His fascination with mountains drew him toward ski mountaineering and leading ski tours on Iran’s magnificent mountains.
