Behrouz Vahedi
Behrouz grew up in the heart of the adorable traditional neighborhood of Yazd. This tied his identity to the adobe bricks of the neighborhood’s winding pathways and traditional houses. His passion for interacting with people of different cultures was his driving force to enter tourism industry at the age of 18. Also, introducing Iranian culture to tourists has been his other motive throughout these years. Everything he introduces others to- the narrow pathways, tall arches, the many windows of the rooms and the trees that surrounded the blue fish pond in the central yard- are all parts of his nostalgic childhood memories. Among the most interesting and exciting experiences he’s gained in his job is the flexibility that the interaction with people of different cultural, social and national backgrounds intensified in him, as well as the knowledge he gained about the idiosyncrasies of each culture. With a professional and aesthetic approach, Behrouz always tries to share his perception and interpretation of natural and cultural subjects without bias. Experiencing something new with each group, he hopes to have created memorable joy for and better insight in every visitor. He believes exploration through other lands familiarizes a stranger and exploration through one’s own land estranges the familiar.
