Saeed Khorasani

Joining his father on mountains planted a deep love in Saeed’s heart for nature, a love that motivated him to follow mountain climbing and rock climbing professionally. Then an adventure through Lut Desert sparked his fascination with the desert, its peace, its beauties and its stunning nights. After becoming intimately familiar with Shahdad Desert, in 2009, he took his first steps in leading desert tours. He has always been motivated by getting a better perspective of Iran (specially his homeland Kerman) and helping in sustaining local societies. Tour guiding gives him a deeper insight into human beings and cultures, strengthens his sense of responsibility and blesses him with endless excitement and peace. Saeed believes desert always has something new to amaze him with: things like an incredible grandeur and a domination over everything. He’s passionate about his job because in every tour he leads, he feels like a tourist who’s there to enjoy and explore the nature.
