Sightseeing around the lovely gardens and tombs of great poets is not all you can demand of the city of love, Shiraz. Three days of horseback riding on Persian horses on the beautiful mountains surrounding the city can be as much delightful. Riding up from the foot of Derak Mountain (one of the most popular mountain trekking routes among the locals) and along the ridge until you reach the peak (2900m), you’d be enjoying the beautiful view of adorable Shiraz and the high mountains around. Then, your mountain horse will accompany you through the pleasant nature of the area until you reach our Equestrian Club. (Trail Rides in Iran)

Day 1

Rise and shine! Have a car ride from your Shiraz accommodation toward Derak Mountain on the Northwest of the city. Meet your horse, gain her trust and saddle up for a ride up to the summit while enjoying the beautiful cityscape. Camp beside a lovely spring close to the summit (2900 m) to spend the pleasant night.

Day 2

Good morning Derak! Wake up in the arms of mother nature and start riding through the lovely countryside to reach Aliabad village. Camp beside the river that sings a gentle lullaby through the peaceful night.

Day 3

Morning’s here! Back in the saddle, ride from Aliabad toward Arash Equestrian Club. We deliver and say goodbye to our horses here and head back to your Shiraz accommodation (around 20km).
